Mahmood Amintoosi

Mahmood Amintoosi is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. With a career starting in 2000, his research interests include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Combinatorial Optimization. He holds a BSc in Mathematics (Computer Science) and an MSc in Computer Engineering (Software Engineering) from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. After teaching at Hakim Sabzevari University, Mahmood earned his PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Iran University of Science and Technology. He returned to Sabzevar University before joining Ferdowsi University in 2023. Mahmood has about 85 peer-reviewed publications in journals and conferences. He was previously a member of IEEE and ACM. He is also a founding board member of the Artificial Intelligence Association of Iran and a member of the Iranian Society of Machine Vision and Image Processing. Mahmood is proficient in Python, C++, MATLAB and LaTeX and a co-founder of ParsiLaTeX group and GTA-Lab at FUM. For more information, you can view his CV.
